Dinner

We were at the Distillery District one winter night and decided to try Cluny Bistro.  The place is very Parisienne with a friendly and relaxing atmosphere.

How to get to Cluny
The dining area is quite spacious with high ceiling and decorated with stylish designs, tcolorful bar stools that exudes the French bistro feeling. There’s also a small bakery and café by the entrance of the restaurant.
We started with the freshly made complimentary bread.  There’s actually a bread carving table in the middle of the room filled with different kind of breads – focaccia, olive and multigrain. We loved the olive bread.
That night, we skipped appetizers and went straight for the mains.  We ordered the 6 oz. filet mignon and the provencal seafood stew. The steak is perfectly cooked to our liking and well seasoned – it’s served with shoe string French fries and garlic dip that tasted really yummy – we can’t stop eating them after the first bite.

For dessert, the hostess suggested the passion fruit soufflé and we were glad she did because it was heavenly!  It was served with pistachio financier and vanilla crème anglaise poured in the middle of the freshly made soufflé and a piece of banana bread.

 The service was great, the staff are professional, the food is awesome and reasonably priced!
