If you want cheap, fast and savoury dim sum, this hole-in-the-wall in Mississauga is the place to be.  You can get about 7 different dim sum items for about $20 and for two people – that’s about enough to satisfy your dim sum craving.
This google street view of Tremendous shows that it is in a more industrial part of Mississauga. Sometimes the best restaurants are the ones in the oddest places, and this is true in the case of Tremendous.

The food is great and cheap, but you need to show up early on the weekend as it gets backed, especially during the a la carte dinning service time. This a la carte time is usually between 12 and 3pm on the weekends, and it’s the best time to come, because once you have a table you can order straight away from the various carts being pushed around. The waitresses speak mostly in chinese but it’s pretty easy to pick your food from what they are serving.

Our favorites include pork siu mai, har gow (shrimp dumplings), har cheung (shrimp noodle rolls) and some battered shrimp with mayo dip.  We also like stuffed eggplant, shrimp stuffed tofu and the saucy chicken feet.
