We enjoyed dinner at Cluny’s that we decided to take some friends over for brunch.  The restaurant is family-friendly with a nice Parisienne ambience and most of all it’s relaxing and we can easily have a conversation.

How to get to Cluny
We ordered the grilled mushroom benedict which came with the savoury frites and garlic dip. I love the creamy eggs and the hollandaise sauce was light and didn’t overpower the eggs.

We also tried the baked vanilla and chocolate French toast topped with whipped cream.  It’s served with macerated fruit and Chantilly sauce and drizzled with maple syrup. It was puffy and has a chocolate filling. The pastry is not overly sweet –the fruits gave it a well-balanced taste. Of course, it tasted even better with the whipped cream!

We decided to share the praline profiteroles for dessert with milk chocolate chantilly, caramel crunch, hazelnut and wild strawberry coulis.
